Not far away!

Last month, we announced that Digipal were finalists in three categories at the annual FPC Fresh Awards.

The ceremony, taking place on Friday 25 September, is fast approaching, and we’re delighted to be back amongst the biggest innovators in the fresh produce space.

Keeping pallets in circulation

The greenest pallet isn’t necessarily the newest one. It’s the one that keeps working.

Pallet pooling helps extend the life of each pallet by keeping them in circulation between businesses. At Digipal, we inspect and repair pallets to keep them working for longer, with fewer than 1% getting damaged.

And when they do reach the end of their life, every Digipal Plastic Pallet is  recycled into another pallet.

Plus, every pallet purchased means one tree planted through our partners at Carma.

Losing pallets? Track them down

When pallets disappear into the supply chain, the costs can quickly add up.

That was the challenge for this company. Asda toyou was losing wooden pallets across its network and regularly replacing those damaged or missing from circulation.

By switching to Digipal’s trackable Plastic Pallets, Asda toyou gained 100% visibility, helping the team identify where losses were happening and take action.

The result was a 95% reduction in lost pallets, while cutting the number of pallets needed from around 62,400 wooden pallets a year to just 3,000 Digipal Plastic Pallets.

And because damaged pallets can be collected and recycled into new ones, the solution helped Asda toyou make its supply chain more efficient and more sustainable.
