Digipal Business Development Managers posing with their 5S plastic pallet at the Multimodal event.

Out and about

Last month, the Digipal team headed to Multimodal!

Jason, Natalie and our new Business Development Manager, Jonathan, headed to the NEC in Birmingham for the event, which annually brings together the UK’s leading transport and supply chain logistics companies.

It was an enjoyable few days, giving us the chance to share ideas, meet attendees and spread the word about our cutting-edge reusable plastic 5S pallets.

Was that really 10 years ago?

It’s been a decade since Pokémon Go became an international phenomenon.

If you don’t recall, it’s a mobile game that had millions of people walking around their towns looking for virtual characters that appeared in real-world locations using their phone’s GPS.

Just a fun game, right? But swap that Pikachu for a pallet or that Bulbasaur for a bale arm crate and you have valuable location tracking that saves you real money.

With our Digipal tracking system, one of our customers reported a 95% reduction in pallet leakage.

If you’re ready to work towards that too, get in touch!

Staying compliant

Complying with regulations is about more than just choosing reusable pallets.

We often hear things like: “My supply chain doesn’t operate in the EU, so I don’t need to worry about these regulatory changes.”

It’s understandable why some businesses may think this, but EU regulations often influence global supply-chain standards, with similar requirements frequently emerging in other markets over time.

As governments continue working towards net zero targets, policies designed to reduce emissions and improve supply-chain transparency are expected to increase. By adopting this technology now, businesses can stay ahead of regulatory changes and make future supply-chain improvements easier to implement.
